Interview conducted by Deborah Lewis as part of the LDS Native American Oral History Project of the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on 12 November 1989. Ferron talks about her early life in Washington and South Dakota and of her parents' divorce. She tells of her conversion to the Mormon Church and of her experiences as a Mormon.
